We visited this state park in Cordele, Georgia in December and it was still in the low 80s and humid! The lake view sites were closer together so we decided to camp a little farther away in area #3 at site #66. it was the perfect site for us.
We visited family in the area so we found the state park to be very convenient. When we go back we will definitely do more hiking and exploring. Lake Blackshear looked gorgeous! We were able to visit the museum at the park and found it top-notch…great displays, informative timelines, and small enough to not be overwhelming or boring.
